I had a very nice day of fishing and walking with Hailey today. We walked at least 3 miles, and covered a lot of ground that I haven't fished for a while. It proved to be a profitable decision. I caught a bunch along the way, and got to see a lot of wildlife on my trek. I got into 2 very nice holdover Brownies, which made my day. Also, since the water temp was 72 degrees, it made for some very aggressive takes. The fights were even better. A couple of the fish cleared 3+ feet of water in acrobatic displays. I saw a huge spider, a bunch of ducks and Blue Herons, and even a beaver. Now for some pics...

Nice
It was another awesome Spring day. So, I wet-waded all over my home waters. I caught well over 10 fish, and lost a couple along the way as well. I fished a few spots I don't always make my way to, and it really paid off. I saw one of the biggest inland Trout I've seen until now, and I caught a few really nice fish. Mostly not in size, but in color. I took a pic of 2 of them. The second has a gold color to it that is so prominent, it is almost yellow. Take a look for yourselves.

Lucky Day
Had a fun, and good day today on my home waters. I even found a dollar on the ground. I picked off a few fish here and there, and ended up getting double digits by the end of the outing. I also saw a lot of sights, including caddisflies fluttering about. Walking through a wooded section I was looking for him, and there he was! The big ol' owl who I had seen just a few days ago! But this time he was a lot closer, and stayed a lot longer for me to get a few great pictures of him. Enjoy!

Beautiful Weekend
A couple of buddies and I took a little camping trip this weekend. On Saturday, they dropped me off at a nearby stocked Trout stream for a couple of hours. I had little time, so I had to make the most of it. I hooked 3 fish, and landed only 1 out of the 3. Lucky for me, the fish I landed was my first Brook Trout ever! This topped off the weekend for me. Also, this stream may have been one of the most beautiful and aesthetically pleasing areas I have ever explored. Here's some of the sights that I saw.
